Construction green breakfast
9 February 2012 7.30 am - 9.00 am, Blake Lapthorn, Seacourt Tower, West Way, Oxford, OX2 0FBChris Cousins, Local Government Liaison Manager at BRE Global, will be hosting a talk at Blake Lapthorn on Thursday 9 February 2012.
- BRE Global is responsible for the operation of BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), the most widely used environmental assessment method for buildings in the world; it also runs the Code for Sustainable Homes under contract to the Department for Communities and Local Government.
- Chris previously worked in Oxfordshire, including for many years as first chief planning officer and then head of sustainable development for Oxfordshire County Council. He has a degree in geography from the University of Oxford and a diploma in town planning from Oxford Brookes University.
- The breakfast will start at 7.30 am for food and networking, speakers at 8.00 am followed by a question and answer session, concluding by 9.00 am.
