Remade South East, in conjunction with Ashford's Future, seeks to raise awareness on waste and recycling in the Ashford area through an integrated promotional campaign which targets local businesses during a three year programme (2008-2011).
The aim is to raise awareness of schemes which reduce, re-use and recycle waste and encourage greater local participation in reducing Ashford's environmental footprint.
Take this survey to review your business recycling activities from 2008 and compare to current practices in 2010.
By completing this survey you will help Remade South East understand business recycling performance in the Ashford area.
Businesses who attended this event in December 2009 were encouraged to think specifically about their food waste arisings and share best practice.

The survey provided a snapshot of current business waste and recycling awareness and practices. With this insight the project partners were able to develop support activities and promotional material in two key areas:
Ashford's Future's 'Green & Clean' workshop, held on 31st March 2010, helped to provide information to local businesses on their legal responsibilities on waste and assisted them to recognise opportunities to improve their environmental track record.
Prior to the event we held a pre event survey, click here for the findings.
Companies who missed the event but who are keen to find out more can obtain a free Ashford Business Waste Directory by visiting our 'Business Recycling Toolkit' page.
SEEDA, Ashford's Future and Valpak sponsored this project in order to establish current trends of behaviour relating to waste and recycling and to identify current barriers to increasing participation in commercial recycling schemes. In addition, the partners sought to understand the types of incentives needed to encourage greater business take-up rates for recycling collections with the overall aim of creating demand for collection services in the Ashford area.
The full survey will be available for download from the June
